The polarising filter is used to reduce glare off reflective surfaces. Glare is usually caused by light rays reflecting in a single plane off a surface such as glass.
Sliding the tabs on the body causes the internal polarised lens to rotate. This allows the user to align the filter across the axis of the reflected light rays effectively blocking the glare.
Machined from aluminium and anodised black, this is screwed into place in front of the objective lens. It can also be used in conjunction with a Sniper Hider or ARD (kill flash).
Ideal for hunting or police / military use where elimination of light reflection from surfaces such as glass is required and for target shooters on outdoor ranges with reflective targets.
