The torque knob is also machined from aluminium and the whole mount has been designed to eliminate snags on equipment and obstacles whilst stalking, moving or climbing. The mount also features bubble levels to eliminate cant when setting up a stable firing platform.
Four top strapping points are a feature unique to the Xmount, it takes the usage of the mount to the next level. Using straps, the mount can be used without a tripod in applications such as helo sniping, urban sniping (hung from doorways / beams) and rural hunting situations by attaching to trees branches and high chairs.
